Glen Mullins, along with former partner Steve Djelebian, co-owned and operated Keytours, Inc., 525 Windsor Avenue, Windsor, Ontario, Canada until its recent sale to American Trans Air on May 01/99. Glen and Steve, coupled with Barb Swope (Director of Operations), and Greg Mitchell (Director of Sales and Marketing), comprised the team which operated the day to day affairs of this tour wholesaling organization. Glen, along with the above group successfully managed this company since opening its doors in 1977.

A graduate of St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology-Tourism (1973), Glen immediately followed his studies and was hired by a local travel wholesaler where he furthered his knowledge and experience in the travel industry prior to opening Keytours, Inc. in 1977. The start of a new company provided many obstacles, opportunities and challenges which were as prevalent then, as they are today.

Over the course of his career, Glen has been actively involved in administration, operations, reservations, sales and marketing, accounting and trade relations. In general, involvement in all facets of wholesale travel have been experienced by Glen and above team over the course of the last two decades. Keytours marketed its products to well over 2,000 travel agencies located within a 150-mile radius of the Windsor/Detroit border. On average, Keytours carried approximately 200,000 passengers annually on its rail/air charter programs, positioning itself as a major force in the local market.

Glen has extensive racing experience having graduated from the Jim Russell International Race Car Driving School in 1983. Since then, he has raced and tested on many tracks throughout Canada and the United States. Also, he holds a Canadian Commercial – Jet Pilot License and a U.S. Airline Transport Pilot Rating. He is certified to fly the Citation One (Single Pilot) and series Two/Five Jets. In addition, he is a certified “Advance Open Water (Scuba) Diver” having numerous deep water/night dives to his credit.

Lastly and most importantly, Glen has three children; Shannon-25 yrs. (Actuarial Science Graduate from the University of Western Ontario – London), Ryan-23 yrs. (Business Graduate from the University of Toronto), and Kristie-22 yrs. (4th year at the University of Western Ontario – London). The entire family has traveled extensively together and enjoy sports, music and various other interests.

Glen (Keytours) was involved in a number of groups and trade related organizations. He has also taught tour wholesaling at St. Clair College and has given hundreds of speeches over the years to trade, social groups, travel schools and a variety of organizations located throughout Ontario, Michigan and Ohio.
